hola, hoy tuve un entrevista por teléfono de trabajo, todo iba bien hasta que llegamos a la entrevista en ingles, mi problema no es comprenderlo, lo comprendo al 100%, tampoco pensar en ingles, mi problema es la conversación no es que no sea articulado, pero como no tengo como practicarlo, no soy muy fluido, ¿alguien puede darme algun tip, consejo, website o algo donde se puedan practicar conversaciones en ingles?

Hi there, today i had a work interview via phone, all was going on great until the part of english conversation, my trouble came when we start the conversation. I know english pretty good, i can understand it without troubles and my pronunciation is pretty well too, my trouble is about my conversation, it is slow, can someone can give me some tips, advices or websites about the improvement of conversation skills?

Well, I think the last stage in learning any language is to be able to speak fluently. The only thing you must do is to practise English everyday. Try not to take English as if it were a subject to be learnt or something like that. Make English language part of your life so try to do at least one thing involving English everyday.

I watch and listen programmes broadcast in English everyday. I also try to speak to as many people as I can in English but I know it is not easy because I'm a sort of busy guy.

Try using Skype or try to log in websites like "shared talk" which allow you to speak to English learners and English native speakers.

Be patient! Your English gradually will improve.

Si tu conversación es muy lenta como dices, entonces no estás pensando en inglés. Estás pensando en castellano cómo se dice en inglés lo que quieres decir.



LA ÚNICA MANERA DE GANAR FLUIDEZ EN LA CONVERSACIÓN ES CONVERSANDO.



Trata de conseguir algún nativo o por lo menos hablante avanzado con quien puedas practicar. Los diálogos y roleplays de un curso normal de inglés no ayudan en estos casos, porque son situaciones verosímiles pero no reales. No importa de qué tema hablen, no tiene que estar relacionado con lo laboral, lo importante es poder desenvolverse en una conversación espontánea.



No te obsesiones con pronunciar o decir todo perfecto, preocúpate por vencer la "vergüenza" de no hablar del todo bien. Nadie te va a crucificar por que se te escape un "I didn't went" en lugar de "I didn't go" o porque tu "water" suene más a "wóterr" que a "wóttah".

Lo malo de poniendo lo aquí es que alguien te lo puede quitar por las normas. Pero puedes ir a los países de habla ingles para practicarlo. Pinchando en las banderas de abajo y hacer preguntas incluso contactar con gente. Es lo más importante el practicarlo constantemente.



I speak enlgish and if you want we can practice sometimes. I'm bilangual but without practice I lose words. Sometimes I take a peak on other countries of things in which I'm interested like sports etc. You can ask or answer questions about computers since it's what you usually do. Most of the times I can't answer because I don't know jack shiit about computers. Funny that I use to untill Windows popped up. Also if you want to pass your E-Mail you can do it on my profile through the blue envelope. I don't have much time but if you have any english/spanish questions I can probably help. Also what I do is always watch TV shows in english if it has the original version.
